These Terms govern your use of the Art Identifier app (the “App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the App.

The service

Art Identifier uses artificial intelligence to identify artworks, architecture, monuments, and landmarks from photos and to provide related information, stories, and narration. The App is provided for personal, informational, and educational use.

AI-generated content & accuracy

Identifications, stories, facts, and locations are generated by AI and may be incomplete, approximate, or occasionally incorrect. They are offered “as is” for general interest and should not be relied upon as authoritative, professional, or appraisal advice. Always verify important details with primary sources.

Acceptable use

Only submit photos you have the right to use.
Don’t use the App to break the law, infringe others’ rights, or attempt to identify or surveil private individuals.
Don’t misuse, overload, reverse-engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its backend.

Subscriptions & billing

Art Identifier offers an optional Pro subscription (monthly or yearly) sold through the Apple App Store.
A free trial, where offered, converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID settings; payment is charged to your Apple account.
Prices are shown in the App and may vary by region. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable; refund requests are handled by Apple.

Intellectual property

The App, its design, and its original content are owned by us and protected by applicable laws. Names of artworks, artists, and places are referenced for identification and educational purposes only.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions made in reliance on AI-generated content.

Changes

We may update the App and these Terms over time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
